My lovely Electra...

This is "Electra" Shaina Callista - birth name Electra de Galius,

(IDC Sg Baron Nike Renewal x YuCh Gama Ginga House).

Electra was born in Serbia and Montenegro in april 2005.

It is an honour for me to be her owner and leader in life. I loved Electra

for the first moment I met her! Electra is my best friend in life.

We do everything together and we are a little bit like Shaggy and Scoobi-Doo! :-)

 

Electra did the Swedish mental test (MH) in sept 2006, with a really great result.

Look at page MH for complete test result both in swedish and english.

Electra is a dobermann with a very high social skill (socialaty, figure 4.3 of max 5.0),

first and foremost her high availability that is an example for the breed.

She has no fear at all. She has figure 4.4 in curiosity and intrepidness, a very high figure.

Her hunting interest resulted in figure 3.5, and it is enough for the breed.

When it comes to aggressiveness she has figure 1.0, average is 1.6 for the breed.

Electra is a very happy dobermann and her playfulness when MH-tested,

resulted in a very high figure, 4.4 of 5.0 possible.

She has renown mental status and is shot proof (with best result, figure 1).

Electra is charming most people that she meet, even other dogs and bitches.

 

                   

 

                      

             

                                                               

                                          

        Electra is a wonderful bitch with a super character and great exterior.

I never had thought that a canine like the dobermann breed with such

a reputation of an aggressive and dangerous animal, should be so loving

and devoted as Electra is. She is so lovely and kind towards both people

and other dogs. She is not so found of wild cats, hares and hedgehoges,

but it is in the dobermanns nature to hunt such animals. You must not

let them learn or allow such behaviour. If you do, they will continue to

hunt the rest of their life.

I will continue to try to change the bad reputation of the breed. Electra has the

ability to charm most people in her way, so she is a good model for that task.

She has never show aggressiveness in her life, only warning me if she

hears something strange or a person nearby, mostly when dark. She has total

control of the environment. Dobermann is nevertheless a tough canine and not

a breed for everyone, but for me it is.

         

Electra is first of all my sweet and loving pet and also a guardian angel.

In the summer of 2006 Electra shall start her Conformation Show career and 

hopefully she will be successful. You can read about it below and under page

"Show results" where you also can see her judgement, and often under "news".

 

When I wrote the above things in 2006, I had no idea how Electras Show

career would be. Now I know, and she has been very successfull in both 2006

and 2007, with 19 CQ (Certificate quality) and total 28 times got 1st price in quality.

That along with beeing top five at lots of Conformations Shows. 

Electra ended up place 17 in the Swedish Dobermann Club, Show Trophy 2006 and 

then in 2007 she advanced to place 7 in the Show Trophy of nearly 100 dobermann!

It´s a very good result. I´m so proud of my sweet Electras achievements so far in life.

In May 2008...looking gorgeous

 

In the end of March 2008 we will start a Human Trace course, so that Electra

can start in the obedience/working apell in 2008.

Hopefully she soon will be starting in Working class at Shows, and there take her

three CERT (Certificate) for the Swedish Show Champion title (SUCH).

She already has got her CACIB in Sweden for the International title (INTCH).

She must later on have one CACIB more from another country to get the title.

We will also try for IPO in the summer of 2008. Electra loves to work and she is

an easy learner. It´s more me that needs to get a grip of things.

I´m learning more for every day and I hope that I can transfer that to Electra,

so that she understands what I´m wanting her to do when we are training.

                    Det var otroligt varmt den dagen och alla dobbar ville bara till skuggan.

            First snow in November 2006...

                   

          

                    

Vi har nu börjat med ringträning/handling inför kommande

utställningar i Juli/Aug 2006.

Den första var i slutet av juni med Mia Sandgren i Kista. Hon var

mycket bra men hon har nu tyvärr uppehåll till aug.

Därefter blev det den 8:e Juli en heldag ringträning med

Gerard O´Shea (Irland), i Björklinge.

Det var en härlig och lärorik dag. Gerard var otroligt bra

och pedagogisk. Han var mycket tydlig med att hunden måste

lyssna till sitt namn och känna glädjen och meningen med att

visa upp sig och stå stilla - BELÖNA med något gott!

BERÖM HUNDEN NÄR DEN GÖR RÄTT och bryt genast av felaktiga

beteenden under trav med att kraftigt, både med kropp och

ord markera för hunden att det inte är acceptabelt.

Om hunden börjar galoppera så spring bara på och gör ingenting.    

Han var fast besluten att få Electra att trava vackert.

Det började faktiskt likna uppvisning mot slutet av dagen trots att

alla var mycket trötta av värmen och alla varv i ringen.

Lördagen den 22 juli 2006 skall Electra göra sin debut i ringen (ukl).

Det blir på Lövudden/Västerås internationella utställning.

Vi ska göra vårt bästa efter så pass lite träning innan.

         

                      

Proud CK/CACIB winner at  her first show in life, second best bitch.  

Det gick långt över förväntan på utställningen...1:1 CK 2:a btkl och CACIB!

Jag är mycket stolt över Electras premiär i ringen.

               

       

In July 2006...looking great!

      

               

At national Show in Östersund/Svenstavik 6/8-06, Electra did very well again.

She got 1:1 CK (excellent Champion quality) in youth class and became

2nd best female.

  

                                       

At International show in Norrköping 19/8-06 Electra became winner in youth

class (Intermediate class) and 2nd best female with R-CACIB.                                  

Next day at International show in Nyköping, Electra became youth winner and

best female with CACIB and BIM (BOS).

She has been very successful at her first four shows in life.
